Cuatro poéticas de la inmanencia

Este grupo de películas está reunido por su intención de imaginar aquello que “está afuera”. Un algo extra cinematográfico, extra artístico, extra lingüístico. En estos “afuera” surge la pregunta por la inmanencia dotando al film de una cualidad para constituirse en una suerte de instrumento rupestre. Las montañas, las plantas, las nubes. Los haces de luz en el suelo, el rumor del río. Los rayones, el misterio de lo subexpuesto, el acecho del silencio. Este juego de lo pre humano desde lo humano, o lo pre cinematográfico desde lo cinematográfico, parece aquí constituirse desde un ritual de intuición, observación y/o suerte. Posible, pero incompleto. La agudeza de estas puestas en escena quizá radique en sus preguntas sobre la materia más atinada para su plástica: el efecto del tiempo en el hombre.

Four Poetics of Immanence

This group of films is brought together by their intention to imagine that which is “outside”. Something extra cinematic, extra artistic, extra-linguistic. In these “outside” the question of immanence arises, giving the film a quality to become a kind of rock instrument. The mountains, the plants, the clouds. The beams of light on the ground, the murmur of the river. The scratching, the mystery of the underexposed, the lurking of the silence. This game of the pre-human from the human, or the pre-film from the film, seems here to be constituted from a ritual of intuition, observation, and/or luck. Possible, but incomplete. The sharpness of these stagings perhaps lies in their questions about the most appropriate material for their plastic art: the effect of time on man.
